Somehow, we pulled everything together and have begun our trip. We are at a campground in Fort Langley and tomorrow will begin our 800 mile ride through the Rockies to Calgary. Most of our fellow trippers are Canadian, more males than females. I swam (briefly) in the Fraser River today; it was colder than expected and thus, my swim was shorter than intended.
Off to town for a beer with our new buddies.
